Some things are worth waking up for.

Doughrathy bakes in drops. Limited runs of wheat bread, muffins, banana bread, oatmeal cookies, brownies, lemon crumble bars and chilled zobo. Everything is made in small batches, claimed fast, and baked fresh for the people who got there first.

no shelf-sitting. no day-olds. ever.

The Doughrathy way

We believe in slow dough.

Not everything should be available all the time. Some things should be waited for, planned around, and eaten warm.

belief 01

Fresh over fast

Every bake is made for a specific person and a specific day. Loaves go in the oven the morning they get delivered. Nothing waits around.

belief 02

Small batch, not mass batch

We cap every drop on purpose. Small numbers mean real attention on every loaf, twist and crumb.

belief 03

Honest ingredients

Natural fermentation. Proper butter. Real fruit. If we would not serve it to our own people, it does not leave the kitchen.

the rule

"If it's not worth waking up early on a Saturday for, it doesn't make the drop."

Hi, I'm Jumoke.

I bake in small batches out of my kitchen in Lagos, in between an MBA and a full-time job. Which is exactly why Doughrathy works the way it does. Drops are how I protect the thing that matters most: every single bake gets my full attention.

When a drop opens, the batch is small and the window is short. When it closes, that's it until the next one. The people who plan around it, the ones who set alarms and forward the announcement to their friends, are the reason this exists.

We call them the Early Risers. You should be one.

The Early Risers

First to know. First in line.

Early Risers get the drop announcement before anyone else. Small batches go fast. This is how you make sure you're not reading a "sold out" post.

We only message when a drop opens. No spam. Ever.

You're an Early Riser now.

We'll message you the moment the next drop opens. Set your Saturday alarm.

Questions, answered

How drops work.

A drop is a limited bake run. We announce the menu, orders open for a short window, and we bake exactly what was claimed. When the batch is spoken for, the drop closes. No restocks, no leftovers.

When a drop opens, Early Risers get a message with the link to our Paystack storefront. You pick your bakes, pay securely, and we confirm your delivery or pickup details over WhatsApp.

Bakes happen on Saturdays, with delivery and pickup windows on Saturday and Sunday. Drop dates are announced ahead of time to the Early Risers list and on Instagram.

Yes, within Lagos. Delivery details are coordinated over WhatsApp after you order. Pickup is also available by arrangement.

Because small batches are the whole point. Baking in drops means everything is made fresh for a named person, never for a shelf. The wait is part of the recipe.
